1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
There were no apologies.
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
To declare any ‘personal’ or ‘personal and prejudicial’ interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to paragraphs 7 to 11 inclusive or Part 2 of the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting
There were no declarations.
3. PUBLIC QUESTION TIME –
Robert Richmond raised a question concerning the numbering of the Minutes of committee meetings. At present the Minutes of Full Council meetings, Staff Advisory Committee meetings, and Annual Town meetings all use the same numbering system, one meeting following the other in sequence. He stated that this is wrong and may result in things being included in the Minutes which have not been discussed at Full Council.
He stated that each separate committee and the Annual Town meeting should start its minuting from the number 1, in each Municipal year which starts in May.
The Clerk was asked to investigate the correct way of numbering the Minutes, and to bring this to council for approval.
4. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS
RESOLVED: That pursuant to the provisions of section 1(2) of the Admission to Meetings Act 1960, in view of the next items to be conducted, the press and public to be excluded from the meeting.
This was proposed by Cllr Fincken and seconded by Cllr Munday and agreed unanimously.
5,6,7 Staff matters were discussed.
