Halstead Town Council

We are looking for Marshalls

The annual procession through the town marks, for many, the start of Christmas and it has grown year on year.

We are seeking volunteers who would be willing to be a marshall for the evening, making sure those participating are safe as they observe this wonderful tradition.

A Massive Thank You

Sunday 30^th November was the first in a series of ground clearance events at The Causeway. A massive thank you from the RiverCare and HRIG to all the volunteers who gave their time and effort in managing the appearance of the river in the heart of our town for the benefit of all.

This was just the start, join us for the second event

Volunteer Sunday (first weekend of the month)

Meet at The Causeway 10am, bring any garden equipment appropriate for cutting back the soft vegetation (some is available if you don’t have any) and bring suitable footwear,wellies recommended.

Let’s show that people power can make a difference.
