It’s here, it’s open, it’s Halstead’s Banking Hub! 
9am – 5pm at the United Reform Church (behind the library) Monday to Friday.
Regardless of who you bank with, the Post Office run counter service will let you do everyday personal and business banking, such as paying in cash and cheques, or withdrawing money, as well as paying bills.
There’s a limit to the services on offer with the banks themselves and you only get one day each week with a customer service representative, so make note of the days below.
Monday: NatWest
Tuesday: Barclays
Wednesday: Lloyds, starting August 27
Thursday: Halifax, starting August 28
Friday: Santander
The plan is that, whilst it’s up and running in the URC for now, they will move to a property on the High Street in the (hopefully) near future, to ensure that they are front and centre to help with your banking needs.
