Following a recent storm which caused a couple of limbs to snap and fall from the trees located on Greenwood Park, Braintree District Council have carried out a further health and safety inspection on site.
Unfortunately, as a result of the inspection it was deemed necessary to fell one of the trees and carry out a sympathetic reduction on two additional trees in order to prevent any future damage to people or property.
The contractor, Beebrook, will be working along the Horse Chestnut Avenue on Greenwood Park Halstead on Monday 9 November 2020, so it would be much appreciated if anyone using the area, take due care and not to block the access required by the contractor to gain entry to the area and work.
