Members of the Council are requested to attend the above Meeting to transact the following business: -

1.  Apologies for Absence and acceptance of those apologies

2.  Declarations of Interests.  To declare any ‘pecuniary, non-pecuniary or    other pecuniary’’ interests relating to items on the agenda having regard to the Code of Conduct for Members and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting.    

3.  Public Question Time.  a) Joy Darby CEO Essex Association of Local Councils will present the Local Council award certificate, Foundation level. b) Dr Kreis-Alsayyedd will provide an update on developments at the Elizabeth Courtauld surgery. c) A maximum period of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or to make statements, and for Councillors with ‘pecuniary, non-pecuniary or other pecuniary’ interests under the code of conduct for Members to make statements. d) Youth verbal update

4.  Minutes.  To approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 14th October 2019.

16. Exclusion of Public and Press.

To give consideration to adopting the following resolution: - “That in view of the confidential nature of the business about to be transacted and pursuant to the provisions of section 1(2)-of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, as amended, the public and the press be temporarily excluded from the meeting”.

Halstead Town Council held two Christmas parties this year for the senior citizens that booked an outing.  the parties were held on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November. We would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who very kindly donated raffle prizes.

Over 60's Outings 2020 Destinations and Cost

Halstead Town Council will be  arranging five coach trips for 2020 for persons over 60.

Destinations: 

13 May - Melton Mowbray

10 June - Hastings 

15 July - Great Yarmouth

02 September - Worthing

14 October - Norwich

The subsidised cost of each trip will be £14.50 per person, per trip.  Persons from outside Halstead Town can travel for £20.00.  Booking forms will be available from the website and Halstead Town Council offices from Monday 27 January 2020.
